Stereotyping

Stereotyping occurs when someone claims that members of another culture all share the same characteristics, which are often negative. It is a form of prejudice and it often creates misunderstandings and difficult realationships .

Do you think that stereotypes can contain an element of truth? How do you feel about stereotypes that concern your country? To what extent do you think they are justified and to what extent are they inaccurate?

Siamo gli studenti e gli insegnanti del progetto Comenius 2007-09 che ha come obiettivo esplorare il significato di identità per un giovane di oggi appartenente a due paesi della comunità europea, l'Italia e il Portogallo. Allora, iniziamo a presentarci!

We're the students and teachers of a Comenius project for the years 2007-09 whose aim is to explore the meaning of IDENTITY for a youth of today, belonging to two countries of the EC: Italy and Portugal. So, let's start to introduce ourselves!
